ShareBuilder $25 Bonus for Opening Childs Account

I just received an email from ShareBuilder. They are offering a $25 holiday bonus for opening up a custodial account for a child. Here are the highlights:

• only applies to the first custodial account you open
• you must create an automatic investment plan for this account by 1/15/08
  
• you must automatically invest $25 for each of three consecutive months ($75 total). (After this you can discontinue the automatic investment plan.)
• use promotion code STOCKGIFT07 when you open the account
• the $25 bonus will post to your newly opened custodial account 4 weeks after the 3rd consecutive automatic investment

One thing I am not sure of...you may have to have an account with ShareBuilder yourself. I get these emails because I opened an account when they had a similar offer (but not for childs accounts) where I got a $50 bonus for investing $50. Worth a try, though, to see if they let you open the custodial account on its own.
